3″ The distinction based on devotion
You should appreciate the Buddha as the one to venerate and serve. You should appreciate the teaching as that which is to be realised. You should appreciate the community as those with whom you should associate because they have attributes that are similar to your own.

Have you heard of the phrase “借假修真”?
It means that we should leverage on this body of ours that is impermanent and having a nature of emptiness by putting into practice the teachings on the path towards enlightenment as a buddha. However, this is easier said than done as we are always indulging or protecting our ‘self’, even when we are volunteering or serving the Three Jewels. ????
Despite the fact that I have studied Lamrim close to 10 years, I am still unable to submit myself totally to the Three Jewels and constantly think of the buddha whole-heartedly. I must strengthen my refuge with the Three Jewels! ????
“Pay attention here! Do not be deceived by the vehicle.” is indeed the best reminder from my dharma master! ????????????
